Saturday was opening day for T-Ball/Softball and Baseball. I sure wish the weather had been better. Yes, I was the only mom who sent her child with a short sleve shirt under her uniform. Another one of those "mother of the year" moments. It was freezing outside. Then to top it off, as soon as Mattie's team was ready to play, it started raining. Why we let 6 year olds and under continue to play in the freezing rain, I have no idea. The funny thing was, they never complained and they had fun despite the weather.
Sunday afternoon Mattie had her first swim lesson. She had a blast and she did great. Everytime I would look at her, she was dunking her head under the water. I think she is really going to enjoy swimming this year.
So, here I am today with a head cold from being "dugout mom" during the game on Saturday. Oh, well...I woulnd't have missed it for the world.

I wanted to take Natalie to the Doodlebops! She loves the show, but I wasn't sure if she is quite old enough to enjoy it. Plus John just doesn't like the show at all and couldn't be talked into going. I guess he knew the theme song would be stuck in his head for days. haha.
I like the pink hair!
Wow! Nathan is so big!! I haven't seen you guys in too long!!
